The global ass et management industry has the ability to make real change through the way it allocates capital across firms and industries. Since 2017\, stu dents have brought together industry leaders and university students from around the World to find innovative portfolio solutions to complex socio-e conomic issues such as the rise of social inequalities and protectionist t endencies and the ESG transition.\n\nNow in its 8th edition\, the MIPC\, a s part of ’s Sustainable Growth Initiative\, has evolved into a know ledge forum bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industry pract ices. Hundreds of investors\, actuaries\, academics\, and university stude nts representing diverse backgrounds come together every year to engage in the case competition\, speaker series and various recruitment activities. The MIPC tackles a new grand challenge each year and the dedicated studen t executive team curates a rich and interactive experience for all our sta keholders.\n\nThe MIPC is an exceptional opportunity to apply academia to a multi-faceted\, real-world issue. We award C$50\,000 in cash prizes to o ur winning student teams\, a figure that makes us one of the most lucrativ e university competitions in the World. For industry partners\, it is an i nsightful experience that brings new solutions for timely challenges in th eir industry\, as well as an opportunity to mentor and recruit the next ge neration of leaders in finance.\n DTSTART:20251107T221500Z DTEND:20251108T003000Z LOCATION:Redpath Museum Auditorium\, Redpath Museum\, CA\, QC\, Montreal\, H3A 0C4\, 859 rue Sherbrooke Ouest SUMMARY:MIPC 2025 Symposium: Mobilizing capital for nature-based solutions URL:/desautels/channels/event/mipc-2025-symposium-mobi lizing-capital-nature-based-solutions-368330 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
